Club’s History:
The automotive world is full of dynamisms, both in terms of motor vehicle development and in technology, or from the automotive players themselves. From the automotive fans or hobbyist  oftentimes automotive clubs are formed.

There are so many automotive clubs being formed, especially in Jakarta, Honda MegaPro Club (thereinafter known as HMPC is one of many two-wheeled motor vehicle clubs established on the basis of common motorcycles, a gathering means of  users of Honda MegaPro motorbikes, and to develop positive hobbies in the automotive field by sharing various knowledge and experiences in riding Honda MegaPro motorbikes.

From the sharing of information and stories around this particular vehicle through the Hondamegaproclub@yahoogroups.com maling list, members organized a gathering to attend the Kenduri Motor Nasional (Kemon) organized by Motor Plus and Otomotif in Parkir Timur Senayan, on  October 2003. From here the activity was followed by “kopi darat” or direct meet up  in various places, before finally found a permanent place in the parking area of Kompleks Perkantoran Bidakara, Jakarta Selatan.

The absence of similar club in Jakarta also inspired and motivated the members to establish a motorcycle club called Honda Megapro Club (HMPC) which was officially formed on 6 December 2003 attended by more than 18 motor clus which had already been formed in the automotive world.

With the significant population of Honda MegaPro and the absence of an official club in Jakarta to contain and channel this automotive hobby, members of HMPC is optimistic that this motor club will become a very prospective one. Now HMPC already has 16 Chapters and 8 Embrios spread all over Java and Sumatra. Just call the nearest HMPC representative and bring your “meggy” to the address of HMPC Chapter.

Membership Requirements:

  1. Prospective HMPC members should be at least 18 years of age and possessing  a valid SIM (Driver’s Licence) C.
  2. Pay  registration fee  and voluntary / mandatory fee as regulated in By laws of HMPC.
  3. Possess and or use  Honda MegaPro motorcycles.
  4. Physically and mentally fit, and voluntarily become a member dengan mematuhi peraturan HMPC.
  5. Every motor of HMPC member must have complete features (headlight, turn signal lights, rear view mirrors, safety helmet, and other attributes that support safety in riding a motorbike).
  6. Not involved in criminal activities, does not consume liquor, and drugs / narcotics.
  7. Does not endanger HMPC members in particular and other road users in general in riding motorcycle.
